Remake System is Trash

So the game starts off as we all load into the game then our mid laner tells us he just spilled water on his computer he's going to afk/quit so we could remake and sorry for wasting our time, we said no problem thanks for letting us know.

So he afked by two mins and when three minutes comes the remake notification doesn't pop up and doesn't let us remake and we're like are you joking? He said he had no chance of playing cause of the accidental water spill so he would quit to let us remake, and he did this at 2 mins, I mean he bought items but it like happened between 45 secs and 1:30 in game where he spilled his water I don't remember and then it never made us remake. This remake system is trash so you're telling me now if this guy buys items or if anyone afks or dc's after buying items and walks half way into lane and then walks back to base and quits that we can't remake? Kind of stupid S*** is this it's like always in the worst case scenarios to lol in promos or about to get demoted, for me it was promos and it's like what the f*** riot why can't you fix or find simple things about this and solve it, tired of people who don't deserve this getting punished for stuff like this.
