If Ahri is really broken, I hope she stays broken for a looooong time.

I don't have any problems playing against Ahri.

  • If she kills me in lane, I feel outplayed.
  • She doesn't feel oppressive.
  • She doesn't one hit me.
  • She isn't Yasuo

You people complaining about Ahri forget about how afwul Zed/Yasuo/Syndra/Veigar/Fizz/Leblanc/etc feel to play against.

I don't feel outplayed by ahri. Cool, you R in a circle around me, how was that an outplay?

what other mages could possibly be more anti-fun to be up against other than Ahri?

And I think her time in a spotlight should end already, its unfair how she has been good since patch 4.12, being abused with a lot of pickrates, while there are champs that existed that never for once get a spotlight, her movement speed needs to be toned down and built up each rank when you max it out.

I thought I heard somewhere that she has like the lowest scaling out of every midlaner or something, idk.

But playing as her and playing against her, I feel like she's actually do-able in lane. Like, you can outplay her, she can outplay you, and she doesn't start off doing tons of damage that is very hard to avoid.

She has poke but still has to get kinda close to use it, her only reliable CC can be body blocked by minions, to kill you she has to all in with her ult and if she fails then she has no way out except for flash.

Like she doesn't even do that much damage early unless you really suck at dodging. She's bearable in lane unlike champs like YasuoandKatarina

Like many midlaners, she has to land her CC in order to combo you, if you can stay behind minions and dodge the E's then you're fine (but watch out for ganks too)

honestly this...

i cant remember the last time i lost to Ahri where i couldn't clearly identified where i screwed up. or been like... damn i totally got outplayed.. (not that that means much because i haven't played mid much since season 5 (rip Nidalee mid), but considering how she really hasn't been touched since then either... i think it's still valid

I don't think most people have a problem playing against Ahri. Ahri is a lot less of a problem in lane than a Leblanc or a Zed. It's her safety and consistency that people have a problem with. It's like Maokai before the nerfs. He gets punished for being a "generalist" but Ahri doesn't? Cause she's not abused by LCS players even if she is abused in SoloQ for it? A lot of dominant midlaners have more or less been nerfed directly or indirectly, and that's more or just solidifies ahri's position on top.

Before you'd see more Viktor, more Ryze more Leblanc...nerf nerf nerf. Even though Vladimir is in an ok spot now He's weak compared to how broken in power he was last year when he had closer to 50% winrate in soloQ. Malzhar is now a support and nerfed because of it. Let's not talk about Azir. Ahri is FAIR. 100% I agree on that.... but is she balanced RELATIVE to the strength of the other midlaners atm. It's hard to say. I kind of agree with most by saying a small nerf is for the best for Ahri before she gets a big one later down the line.

Alast she has a similar power to Janna in not feeling OP to face but able to consistently get her team a victory more often than a defeat.
