Won all 9 promos. Lost 1. Silver 5?

I'm so confused right now. How does this ranking work. Honestly don't remember what my rank was last season but I was at least in silver. At least give me gold 5?

there almost no way to "win" placements. no matter what rank you were befoee youll almost never move up a tier.

Not how it works. You have to climb, they pretty much put everyone back in the same elo or brought them down a bit if it felt they were undeserving of the elo you were in last season.

Nah, they just dropped everyone.

New ranking system is sorta weird. I was in silver IV and I dropped to bronze IV after going 5-5

they changed how provisional games work. I was silver last season...went 8-2..got b3. If i went 8-2 last season i prob would have been gold :)

I was Silver 3 last season, won 6 out of 10, got placed in Silver 4. The way you are ranked has something to do with your MMR, a system of which I do not understand at all. I think the more ranked games you won last season, how you did in your placements, and how often you played ranked last season, I don't know how the system works it, but it does something.

I could be completely wrong about this as well, just giving my thoughts on the matter.
