I think the reason so many players are skeptical of balance is...

They can't afford the champions they complain about. If you look closely at the champions that people usually say are 'broken' they rarely cost under 3150IP and even then then ones that people hate the most are 4800IP and above.

An example of what I mean. has seen a recent spike in jungle popularity and has a 52% winrate with a 10% playrate. She cost 3150IP but people don't complain about her. has been a bit more noticed and has had the same play rate for about 4 patches or more but has a winrate that peaked at 51% in only one patch. He cost 4800IP.

To give another example is the tank assassins or just assassins in general. Of all the tank assassins from last season which one stands out the most? Which one do people repeatedly worry about coming back? . And how much does he cost? 6300IP.

Now if we look at the assassin rework in general. The ones that people actually said still feel too bursty after we work are and . These ones got the most hate out of the rework. is still actually strong but didn't get the level of attention that the former mentioned received initially.

But two more examples just to get my point accross. In the ADC role the champs that were requested for guttings the most are/were and . The top adc was but he didn't get as much notice as these two. The only thing they have over him is that they cost 4800IP while the rat dude cost 3150IP.

Now for my final example. . She has an almost 56% winrate and an easy as heck kit with invulnerability and a heal. Plus she's ranged. But she isn't spammed as much as , and . Riven has a 49% winrate and spammed. No one notices her. Darius has a 51% winrate and a higher winrate than yasuo. While yasuo sits in the third position with a 50.52% winrate. But who is hated the most out of these three? Who does the community wish that Riot would delete? Who would they like to see gutted beyond repair and without mercy? This dude: . Darius has the higher winrate, higher play rate but the lower ban rate :/. But the 6300IP dude is mercilessly mobbed in the community.

I have noticed that the more expensive champs are more likely to be circle jerked than the cheaper champs to sum it all up. Not saying much just pointing this out. Oh and the more 'overloaded kits' always win in terms of hate received. This dude is much less fun to play against than this dude . And this guy is much more hated than this chick . Also like and .
