Edit: I honestly don’t remember if that was her old W or E. I just really despised that ability on a personal level and never want it back.

That was her old E.

Her old W was on-hit healing, and if you activated it, that healing was doubled and you got on-hit true damage while active.

Well considering her new W has just recently been nerfed from being maybe the single most busted skill in the whole game, give it a year or two until we check with irelia again. Also nerf lb and camile to the ground for a couple years and I would be a happy man

Healing from her old W was transferred to her new Q, you know that right? So you mean remove the Q heal and her W defences for the true damage and onhit heals?

Correct, but the W active gated her sustain and worked as a clear window of power you could play around.

Old Irelia with new E and one mark reset (applied by E) would be a champion that's fundamentally fair enough to balance. And old Irelia's SFX were way cooler, too. =/
