Does that usually happen? I remember name change sales and RP sales, but never skin sales.

I know that they do the "Your Special Shop" kind of deals for every players to have their own unique deals. But I was wondering if they will ever do something like a bigass bargain sale that can last for like one hour or something.

Yeah, I don't recall anything like that. They do regular sales all the time, pretty much.

You may know already, but they didn't do special shops this time since it's not a feature in the beta client yet. I think the closest thing will be this

Starting in August of 2016 we are now offering twice-yearly IP sales of Chromas. We don't currently have any plans for RP sales of chromas, but that may change in the future.

Keep in mind that all of Riots money comes form skins. It's not like Steam where you put some games on sale and home to make it back through the reading market, microtrabsactions.

That's why the fact the Hextech crafting system exists is still surprising to me

Almost certainly not surrounding any ultra limited time thing like that, particularly without notice.

People play league all over the world, so something that totally screws some time zones wouldn't be well received.

Considering there hasn't been updates for days on the PBE and the only thing happening is poro king for the next like 3 more weeks, i'm assuming they're all on vacation.
