if she attacks you on max aa range, she's already out of the bonus-ms range. Phantomdancer is more for kiteing melees/sticking as melees

The range of effects on items like dancer are measured from the center of your champion.

Auto-attacks are measured from the edge. Typically you want to add 100 to the range of an auto-attack to get a good idea of how it stacks up against skills and auras.

650 > 500

Dancer will be most effective on melee champions if it's being used as a chasing tool.
