Zed
As a zed main, I've played him pretty much everywhere. Top, Mid, Jg, Adc, even support. Obviously some were straight garbage, although you could make it work if you played well enough. But primarily Zed plays mid. And he's a great midlaner (I think so anyways), but as a squishy ad assassin, he really only shines in certain comps.
I might be wrong, but wasn't Zed originally intended to be a mid/jg champion? Obviously if he was, riot has moved past that idea, focusing on putting him in a lane. The problem is, he lacks diversity. He can go top and jungle and not be considered a troll pick (debatable on the jungle for some people), but it's not good enough to be worth switching from mid, unless you have a team comp and an enemy team that set it up perfectly.
In the jungle, he's not terrible, like a
jungle or something, but he isn't really good. It feels like a
jungle but slower and not as much damage.
My question here is, should riot try to make Zed more jungle friendly, and if so, what could be changed to make that happen without making his laning even stronger than it is?
