If you somehow got a magic ability to be able to cast a spell and decide a lane or jungle. Then whichever lane you choose, the worst player will be put there. Which lane would you put that player at?

Like if I have carries then fine, but if we are just getting a bad player that kind of sucks.

You just have to go off your intuition and logic. It's just the same as if you're in champion select of a solo queue without being able to look up your teammates.

... then again, I have also seen those same Rivens/Fioras not push their advantage and somehow losing the game. So you are probably right.
