@riot Can we get an update on nidalee

Is there anything that has been looked at with bringing back top/mid lane nidalee yet?

as i am one of the top 50 mastery Nidalee mains in NA. ( or was last time i checked, i haven't been playing as much now people could have surpassed me)

and i have mained nid since they day i started playing in patch 3.6.

i will say i was DEVASTATED that she lost her ability to mid lane in patch 5.5

i had actually quit in 5.4 as soon as i saw those changes on pbe and didnt come back until the release of challenger nidalee

however. i do not really see how nidalee can ever effectively lane again unless she gets both her % hp back on her traps.

and her full pounce reset on minion kill or pouncing to a hunted CHAMPION. As long as they only restrict the incremental reset to jungle camps, it shouldn't break her jungle wise.

and the % hp she needs anyways, and it's just stupid not to give it back to her at this point. (capped at 50/100/150/200/250, from 200 at all levels)

those are the two changes she would need in order to lane again..

( yes, i had over three years to come up with and modify these changes to be the best possible, without breaking her in the jungle.)

that being said even if these changes go through, i cannot guarantee she will even be viable mid.

Zoe pretty much flat out better version of mid nidalee, and it better lategame as well and provide much better teamfighting due to having a form of CC and zoning.

that being said... i would STILL play her mid again if they let her back.

Yup I mained her toplane since the end of season 1 and pretty much stopped playing last season. The removal of the auto reset was the final nail in the coffin. However giving her back her auto resets and pounce reset is a little thing that would help her out a ton in lane with farming/pushing. the other idea I have is to just make her traps not proc on lane creeps. It would allow you to scare people off so you could farm or force people out of position. I think her damage is low enough early that without landing a spear her trade damage wouldn't be broken. And if these for some reason did make nidalee too strong in the jungle they can adjust her hunt passive to jungle camps.

Bring back AP nidalee.

lol I want lane nidalee back in general. She's already built Ap most of the time in the jungle anyway just needs a few tweaks so she can come back to top and mid.

I was referring to the 1k+ spears nidalee. If Zoe is allowed to exist, then nid should get her spears back.

But Zoe has to hit her sleep first, thats 2 skill shots versus one. Granted you're super unlikely to miss the second, but it can be champion blocked too. So there's some key differences honestly.

I get the feeling she'll remain in the dumpster till next season. Nidalee when ahead is almost literally equal with most other picks where as when she's behind she's just complete garbage and you get punished for mistakes so heavily it's not funny.
