I have an Idea, let's just preemptive buff every ADC in the game so they can survive the "Tank Meta"
Slow clap for you @RiotRepertoir

#Maybe you should stop the bias towards ADCs and let them learn how to play the game for once, you got damage creep, mobility creep, overtuned AD items, broken support items, nerfed assassins, AD GA, all that so ADCs can 1v1 everyone and don't need to learn how to position themselves nor how to follow calls and play with their team. I wouldn't follow that road if I were you.
I agree with all your plans on paper, but the execution is terrible. Sure Tanks aren't suppose to deal a lot of damage, but unless you make a viable way they can lane and hold the game until lategame, unless you give them some kind of threat more useful than some slows and maybe a stun, unless you make something they can do against lifesteal and critical damage, unless you do all that, is better to keep their high base damage on their spells.
If all you do is annoy their carries for a few seconds, you are not a threat, surely you can be a pain sometimes, but if the enemy ADC heal 100~300 HP per auto on you ass, while you don't even do half of that. If that is all you do as a Tank, then you're a hindrance to your team and would be better of as a DPS, since they can't focus 4 DPS at the same time, and you look at that, all top laners in high elo are playing high DPS champions like Pantheon, Yasuo, Graves, Kayle and Talon.
#Am I saying I know how to balance the game better than Riot?
#No, I'm not. They probable already know all that, if things are like this right now, it's deliberated. All I'm saying is; from my point of view of user, player and consumer, their direction is off and will result and a terrible environment for all the players. When does "Open Mid" at 10 minutes of the game became "normal"? Some of us are not youtubers nor have the free time to play +10 games per day, we commit 1 or 2 hour to play the game we love, and would be happy to play 2 or even 1 game in that time, if it's a good game, a challenging experience, even if we lose. The sensation of being useful and do your best to acomplish something with your friends or even some randoms is what was beautiful about this game, and now it's just a clown fiesta even before the minions spawn.
I don't know if it's because of LCS as some say, or if Riot was aiming for that since they started, all I know it isn't fun anymore, it isn't the same anymore.
#Am I saying Tanks should deal a lot of damage?
#Of course not! Actually Tanks should even lose lane most of the time, and not being optimal in duels, let Fighters, Assassins and Juggernaughts be the ones that duel and win lanes. All I want is to Tanks to become threats to the carries once again.
I wish Riot on this Tank update gave us Tank players more options to disrupt the carries without essentially dealing damage, here some ideas taking off of my ass right now that could be better than the crappy items we got.
#Name not important #1
- Amount of armor irrelevant
Passive: Creates a Aura around the user that debuff enemies close to it, reducing Lifesteal by X%.
Active: User smash the ground creating a broken terrain that slows enemies and cancels moviment abilities and dashes while inside ( enemies can still use flash )
#Name not important #2
- Gives AR + % base AR value ( so tanks profit more from it than squishies )
**Active: **Pull enemies in a circle towards the user, displacing them and interrupting channeling. Being hit reduce the cooldown of the active by X seconds.
#Name not important #3
- Increases base AR by some value ( It's not a huge value, but won't be reduced by Last Whisper and will synergize with "name not important #2" )
Passive: If user's HP fall bellow 20%, it gains a shield equal to 200% AR + flat value ( that scales with lvl ), and the user becomes unstoppable, immune to CC and pushes minions out of the way, but deals -75% damage from all sources.
#All I want is to Riot to fix damage creep and realize that it's hurting their ADCs as well as everyone else, and that we still would love to see the pros playing even without every engaging ending with 100-0 combos in less than 2 seconds. Longer games can be remedy with forced objectives, that make players get out of turtling and having to take risks if they want to win, while making teamfights faster only takes away from the experience.
