WTF HE CAN GO INVINCIBLE LIKE 7 TIMES DURING A TEAMFIGHT AND DO 2K TRUE DAMAGE IN PURE AUTOATTACKS AND 800 EXTRA FROM THAT BROKEN ASS "TANK KILLER" META "SOLUTION". Easy solution which they will never do is to remove true damage and "immune to attack speed slows" from his kit. There's no reason for either to be there.

My only other option is to boycott and specifically mention Yi as the reason why, as if enough people do it they will address the problem because money > player opinions. You can also dodge every game with a Yi in it and say why in the lobby. If enough people do it, they have to nerf him.
