Master Yi super OP season 5?

Is it just me or is yi gonna be extremely op with the new jg changes?

If I'm not mistaken one of the main weaknesses of yi is that he cant gank very well early game/til level 6.

But the new item that lets you smite champions and slow them by 50% for 2 sec (and that only costs 350 on top of machete) would basically negate this weakness. All you do is take ghost and smite, get your blue and red, then go base for that 350 item then you can gank at like lvl 3 easily by popping ghost, and then using the smite to slow. Then a few minutes later you get the enhancement with 50% atk speed and bonus magic dmg on hit and boom, you're OP.

I suppose he could still be counterjungled early to deny him farm, but strengthening his early game ganks in this way basically means a higher chance he will snowball. Thoughts? Is yi going to be a perma ban now lol?

EDIT: I'd like to add that on top of all this, he wont even be affected much by the fact that jg monsters are stronger now, since his clear speed was always decent and he has crazy sustain.
