This is a thread requesting Veigar laugh upon successfully killing an enemy with his ult, not that his kit is too difficult to combo.

Gotta have all the important bindings (obviously emotes take top priority =P) organized in such a way that you don't ever have to move your left hand away from QWER. One of my biggest pet peeves with the default bindings is having the shop all the way over on 'P'. Recently shuffled things around and put it on 'X' instead, it feels better to me that way.

I have a weird mouse with a few side-buttons. My emotes are bound to them. Makes it really easy to play Taric and spam his joke. ^_^

Let's be real tho. If you're playing Veigar and you're within 1000 units of an enemy that won't immediately die from 1 Q+R combo then you're probs already dead.

I've gotten caught out before and saved my buns with e before, giving me just enough time to combo the squishiest enemy and run out of there in a panic. Before you'd be running away laughing manically, but now you're just running away in a panic glad you survived.

Lol kids these days. the only thing veigar offers is the ability to kill someone. The fact that he's so squishy AND immobile makes him the easiest target for anyone with decent damage. He's so easy to handle it's not even funny. If you honestly think veigar is op, then, and I VERY rarely say this, get better kid.

Veigar's Q is now a skillshot and refunds mana on a minion kill. Its ranged has been increased to 700 units(formerly 650)

Veigar's ult is now a skillshot with a range of 900 units(formerly 650). Additionally it now explodes on contact with an enemy champion dealing half damage to enemy's caught in a 175-unit radius(the size of Cho's Q). He also Laughs upon killing a champion, otherwise the skill would do no damage.

With two more skillshots Veigar is ready for some #LCSbigplays.

Souds good. But first remove the undodgeable 2.5 sec stun and remove the enemy AP scaling that punishes players for doing well.

Stun basically needs to behave like Jarvan's ult, where an enemy champion is targeted, then the zone is created around them. In its current form, a bit of practice effectively makes it a guaranteed stun on your main target, with the extra bonus of also stunning others neaby.

The problem is he can't have his ult made into a skillshot because of his low mobility. Fizz can always use his Q and E to get on the squishies' face to ult them, but Veigar has no means of getting in a fight behind the tanks and hit the squishies. Riven's "skillshot" is also thanks to her mobility, just like Braum's. Now if a Veigar gets in the middle of the enemy team, well... you know what happens. I am fine with his Q being a skillshot though, assuming it moves fast enough.

Besides those two abilities negating 2/3 of his damage output, deleting champions is more or less all Veigar has to offer. Event Horizon has suitable utility, but I do not pick Veigar for utility, I pick the Tiny Master of Evil to annihilate those foolish enough to make my laning phase hell.

Still, I understand point and click abilities offer little in terms of counterplay; how would you change his ult without altering his theme?

As one that has several thousand AI games under my belt, I can tell you with certainty that bots cannot help you master a champion.

But gosh darn it, it's fun to stomp on bots and go 30/0 every once in a while.

you should. he was the first mid laner I played and he's basically like nasus in terms of the fact that if you can use him properly he almost just flat out wins by himself. all you gotta do is know how to farm properly and not go oom.

His R should be a skillshot that explodes on impact, dealing damage in a small AoE I mean, Event Horizon already pretty much sets you up perfectly to line up skillshots, so in lane it wouldn't change much, but then in team fights it's both easier to damage priority targets thanks to the range increase that would come with this and harder if the enemy tank and carry position correctly

Also, his W really needs a rework... It's an AWESOME ability, but it doesn't belong in the game LoL has evolved into, sadly

And they should give him an interesting passive too

BUT YES! Give his laugh back :'(

Team counters: Braum Yasuo Kayle any form of silence/stun before he has a chance to burst...

Single counters: item 3157 Fizz stun/burst back...

Just what pops off the top of my head. He doesn't have much range but will one burst you down. I find it silly you complain about Veigar but not Zed who one burst kills and isn't squishy, Xerath who can one burst a whole team to low hp and ult to finish off someone who isn't careful, Annie who one bursts after an aoe stun, must I go on? Especially for how squishy Veigar is, there's a reason he's not OP or super popular. He's pretty balanced, easy to counter... but scary as fuck esp if you let him stack and he knows how to play it safe and use his cc well.

I've been playing Xerath since his rework and carried my way out of Bronze with him. Then the soft reset pushed me back into Bronze, but I intend to carry myself back out. I've been seeing him becoming a more frequent champion though, and not really sure why it took so long for people to realize how strong he really is. Especially if you've got a team with champs who can keep you safe... man I love him. What I love most is if I'm in a bind, between my W and E, the stun/slow keeps 'em off my ass. Some games I don't even grab boots, get a mejai's, and still dominate. It hurts me though when I see him used wrong, only because I know how much potential he has. I can't see him turning into the new Zed though, where everyone has to play him. Between all his spells being skill shots and how squishy he is, he's not exactly easy unless you've got the mage role down. Hell, most champs can take him down in a few hits no problem. He weakness is.. anybody who has a gap closer haha. All about countering his counters.

If Veigar worked like that, he'd be drastically overpowered.

It's about positioning and timing. If you try to just walk forward and nuke a squishy enemy target, you'll get CC-locked and splattered by their front line.

Every single mage has a timing and positioning sensitive ultimate, but unlike Veigar they don't have to just click on them.

I think you're missing the point of the joke. I find it hilarious that in between everybody complaining about how OP Lee Sin is and why are they nerfing Sona again and qq'ing because Ahri isn't an assassin any more, there are a few people that just want Veigar to laugh when he ults and treat it (ironically) like just as big an issue.
