I Think We Should All Take a Moment to Appreciate Braum's Mom
"Mother always said - don't lose!"
"Mother always said - float like iceberg, sting like thrown iceberg."
I know that last line is a reference to Muhammad Ali, but assuming Braum is honest, and he really has no reason to be, he's BRAUM, then his mother sounds like a very confrontational woman, the kind that would suplex you into the ice if you crossed the line. Let's face it, this is the woman that gave birth to the Heart of Freljord, a man that wrestles dragons and punches through mountains. That Braum's mother would offer such words of encouragement like "don't lose," speaks volumes about her personality. She did not tell her son, "try your best" or "fight for what's right" or even "never give up," her command was a very simple "don't lose." A fight breaks out? She would expect someone to hit hard like a thrown iceberg; literal of figurative, that is a monumental task, and since Braum did beat through a mountain with his bare hands, I think she was being literal. Braum's jovial disposition only makes it more amusing, considering how deadpan she sounds.
I think it is safe to say Braum's mother was a badass.
