YUP they say 6.9 updates are inprogress but i'm sure they'll just ignore it and do as they please anyways
To be fair, sometimes the players know jack shit about balance. A lot of the cries for nerfs are because people do not know how to fight a particular champion.
This is my reasoning for Vlad, Malz, and Irelia. I don't think they are gamebreaking, I just find them really fucking annoying and wouldn't mind them (mainly 
) being nerfed to oblivion until reworked into a less annoying state. But I'm not going to say that I'm clearly the logical voice in this argument.

remember that one time that people said Darius was too weak on the PBE so they decided to buff him? remember that monstrosity? remember how people always irrationally freak out over the slightest change? sometimes it's better that Rito doesn't listen.
that being said, they should be listening to people who actually know what they're talking about, like Malicious Metal so the Mordekaiser dilemma doesn't happen again.
Couldn't you easily argue the reverse? "Am I out of touch with the game?" "No, it's the company that's wrong."
League of ADC: "Rito fix these broken marksmen! Tanks are worthless" League of Tank: "Rito fix these invincible tanks! My poor ADC can't kill them!"
