Why make the duration only 10 seconds long. As difficult as it is to land it barely lasts any time. two tentacles? Thats it? Why even have the ability? It's like she only has two abilities now. Q and W (excluding R) because E has such little duration or impact. Why not make it last 30 or 20 seconds why ten? Thats crazy and so useless.
You seem to be undervaluing this ability, the fact that it happens in rapid succession gives Illaoi more consistent chances to heal from the ability connecting. If you cant land the E and get the benifits, that sucks for you, but for us that can, its a welcome change
You do realize the after effect is only the second part of the ability right? Being able to have a free standing double of the champion you're trying to hit so that your tentacles can do double damage and obtain double healing is pretty strong as it is.
I mean I'm no expert but how many champions have a non ultimate skill that deals 45% of the target's max health +8% per 100 AD? Also as you rank it up the tentacles can spawn every 3 seconds meaning that's 4 tentacles at max rank.
It's unfortunate, but I'd rather the balance come out of there rather than her other abilities.
