Expose Weaknesses Doesn't Belong in Ferocity

The only champs who would take this would be tanks and supports yet we primarily run 0-12-18. It should be added into the resolve tree.

That's entirely the point. It's to encourage supports to put 6 or 12 in ferocity instead of just going 12 resolve everygame. It's a tradeoff. If they just put it in resolve it would be taken everytime, but the carries that put points in ferocity might go for double-edged sword of feast instead.

Now gues why tanks and sup till now always went 0-18-12 or 0-12-18? because furor had rather bad options for them. However, i can totally see why a karma or lulu might get 12-18-0 now with exposed weaknesse. Of they now add a more suitable masterie on the oppresor/headhunter tier aswell, many sups might opt for 12/x/x, and if they ever decide that deathfire gets some levelscaleing basedamage like thunderlords, i can even see some sups with 18/x/x

If they really want deversity in masteries, putting expose weaknesses onto the furor tree is the right decision. Though a better idea would be to remove the tree system all together and give each player X-points to spent per tier level(currently it's 10 for tier 1 and 3, 5 for tier 5, 2 for tier 2 and 4, and 1 point for keystones) This would actually alow to customize masteries. Want flatpen and the dot masterie? No problem. Want to go tank but have an aditional 5% cdr? Here we go! THe current limitations through the different trees just don't allow for much diversity, the keystone mostly dictates all other chpoices, and the keystone is often set in stone by the champ pick...

Why would you even implement a support mastery and put it into the tree mainly for adcs or some mages in the first place lol

Hayaishi22/27/2016, 7:54:24 AM3 votes

And junglers.

It's not for just your everyday support or tank, as that would be kinda stupid how easy it would be for them to use. It's for the ones that are specing into the Ferocity tree already, kill lane supports, juggernauts, etc.

Or even the utility tree. Swap it with the Assassin mastery.

Expose weakness is a buff to your kill potential. So it belongs in the tree devoted to upping your kill potential.

Hellioning2/27/2016, 5:14:35 PM2 votes

Yes, that makes sense. Let's have a mastery for increasing damage inside the defensive tree. Genius!

Darkwind2/27/2016, 7:29:24 PM2 votes

I actually feel it and "assassin" should be swapped...

i'm actually gonna start picking it when playing jungle cuz i'm tired of always doing all the dmg when ganking

I've been testing Expose Weakness on Garen. Works great for teamfights.

It fits worse in Resolve and the Cunning tree would be way too overloaded with supportive options.

There's no supportive options in Ferocity, and Expose Weakness fits perfectly in the Ferocity tree as an aggressive supportive option.

You know the ferocity mastery that allows you to do more damage to CCed enemies?

I think tanks can run 12/0/18 fine. I use that for most of my tanks. And I main tanks.

That IS Riot's intent.

Supports & Tanks can already utilize Windspeaker's Blessings in Cunning tree & Bond of Stone in Resolve tree. They intent to add another Support mastery in the Ferocity as well.
