Whoever you find fun! if you find braum fun, play him! I main braum, and I enjoy playing leona and rakan. if you need a support that can help support other lanes if yours is failing, I recommend leona, she can do plenty of damage and be tanky if you build her right! Leona's like the more offense version of braum, and rakans just mobile and super fun to play!

Support is fun. Whats boring is farming to be relevant. I can trade 1v2 for the first ten minutes and not worry about farming at all unless im proccing relic which isnt real farming. You can grab a mage support and your damage will be relevant in all phases of the game, you can grab a tank and initiate or peel which your team slaughters theirs because you played it right, or you can grab an enchanter and change the dynamic of a teamfight. What I find boring is farming for 15 minutes and waiting for a gank or your opponent to make a mistake so you can farm more. While playing support you can gank mid, counter jungle, ward an area to know you can trade freely, make sure you have vision on objectives, deny vision so you can ambush, etc... Farming is what I find boring as hell in this game.

youre either trolling or dont understand the game well enough to have a discussion with.

supports can play a massive role in this game. note, I said can, meaning they aren't 100% needed, BUT, they are very impactful! support may not be fun for you, try top lane, or mid. if you like helping people but find support boring, go jungle! closest thing to supp there is!

Looking at your match history, your adc's have been building correctly according to team comps and aren't doing all that bad.

Support main and have been since the early days. Currently @ plat levels of play.

You want a support that has decent late-game scaling and some solid damage tools if your concern is dealing with bad players. Crowd Control is also a huge priority. Here's a small list, I think just about any of these played at a high level can take you to platinum.

Annie Brand Karma Morgana Velkoz Xerath Ziggs Zilean Zyra

That being said, your best and easiest path to victory will always be your ADC - i don't care what meta your in, if your ADC is a solid player, then your best efforts should always be to support him and keep him alive while allowing him to deal damage.

personally I like leona. When i player I like to rush zeke's convergence as the extra damage and slow almost ways = a free kill the the person you locked up. Give it a try.

Janna, Sona, Soraka, and Lulu are all good champs to learn.

Thresh is very good if you are willing to put 200 games in him. Blitz is good if you can hit his rocket grope.

Brand, Annie, or Zyra are good if you need a second AP champ. Lux isn't great, but gives CC and waveclear.
