Temp Afk punishment?!?!

Ok, plain and simple,

I am a dad, but I enjoy this game.

Being a parent comes with life responsibilities, apparently, I am not allowed to feed my son during the night if he gets up, I have being punished for it.

Yes, I was afk for some minutes, I had no choice, my son needed feeding. yes i carried the game, yes i came back.

Are you for real punishing people to this extent?

I lost my LP for that game, even though I won, and carried.

If i lost or didn't come back I understand, but I came back and carried.

I literally am so disappointed in riot, all they seem to do is disappoint.

I have literally just came back to the game and want to leave.

I understand you're a dad (and a new one it seems so congratulations!), however, this is league: a game that relies on 10 people. If one of those people leaves, it ruins the experience for at least four other people (since sometimes the enemy team is like "fuck yes!"). If you aren't 100% sure you can play through a game, I suggest you don't play. It's bad mannered. Try an ARAM if you think summoners rift will take too long, or, you may just have to wait until your son can sleep through the night and not require feeding. I know you can't necessarily help it, but when you queue for a game you are saying to riot "hey I have at least an hour of free time to play uninterrupted". You're basically accepting a terms and conditions every time you hit "ready" for that queue pop. Remember that.

Edit: I'm not trying to be the bad guy here. I'm just saying this is why you get it. Not to mention, they don't really want you to make it a habit, and leaving for a significant period of time stresses the rest of your team. (Regardless of if you carried :( )
