It was and still is crazy early burst, but the mana costs are still meaningful enough to keep her balanced, so rather than being a power issue it's just that I think it's a bit too polarizing.

Abyssphere1 votesIt's very high, but it's a significant drop from the alleged 330, and probably appropriate for the type of abilities involved. Given Anivia's nature of having only two damaging basic abilities and one of them being her primary burst tool, it'd be pretty much impossible for her not to have a very strong level 2 when things align. Cassiopeia is similar in this regard (QEEE is more level 2 damage than Anivia QE).
Anivia's power spikes are just weird because of how her kit works. Weak level 1, very strong level 2, comparatively poor level 3, standard 4 + 5, then a 6 that's quite a big spike in some ways and hardly a spike at all in others.
