people play in normals are whole lot better than the ones in ranked

i almost ALWAYS see people perform and play better in normals than the ranked counterpart, i honestly have seen people in normals, and that are unranked have a BETTER understanding of the game than ALOT of ranked players, and oh my god, do i mean ALOT

ofcourse, we're not Factoring the ones in normals that try them crazy builds

i'm not sure if anyone has noticed that or anything

also, i've been getting matched up with golds and plats, and i'm unranked, i play normals (on this acc anyways) why am i getting matched up with them?

I have the issue of in ranked my team likes to run around like a chicken with their heads cut off. In normals, my team actually works together. Even if we made a bad call, everyone tried to take what ever objective.

You're forgetting normals has it's own MMR just like rank. If you have a high rank MMR your normals stays the same.

The higher of a rank you are, the more drastic of a difference rank and normals are going to be.

For me playing normals is like playing on my bronze account, and I'm sure someone in diamond will easily beat me to a pulp.

to me this "mmr" is bs...I get so discouraged with ranks in this game when I have almost as many or more kills than the rest of my entire team combined and I don't even want to start with why the intelligence level of your teammates seems to drop down to near Neanderthal levels when you hit a promo series lol..but hey that's just my opinion. I crawled out of bronze last season just to win more provi games and get put at bronze 4 this season lol..ya it really is hidden lmao cause I cant find any reason for it . they probably don't even want you to rank up any more with the huge rise of esports..they make so much money promoting it filling peoples heads with ideas they can be on the big stage if they try hard, then they force you down keep you down and keep you motivated with new champs and skins idk just a idea..if you don't leave bronze...youre going to keep trying..and playing.

nothing is wrong with the ranked system unless you are diamond 5 who have bugged LP gains.

Every other elo is about oyur own personal skill. If you can't get out of bronze, then you are not good enough yet. Do not blame your teammate, I have went through that time period of struggle myself. I literally blamed my teammates for lossing 11 promos to gold I in a row, but it was because I was simply not skilled enough. I am now happily in gold 2 and am trying to get to plat, but I don't have that skill yet.

Just keep playing, get help from your friends (pref from someone higher rank than you ), record your gameplay and analyze your mistakes. Get builds from lolking and teamsolomid with high ratings. Practice CSing in a room by yourself if you have low CS. Besides, the main key to getting better MMR is to play literally freelo champs in low/mid tier elo.

I'm talking about rumble,nasus,sejuani,amumu,malphite, you know what I'm talking about man.

also, i think you are just way too inexperienced to judge if people have understanding of the game or not. maybe it just feels this way for you because in normals, people are mor relaxed or you are more relaxed or whatever reasons.

tho im not saying that there are no good normal players who play basically no ranked.

this game really isn't that hard you push the same buttons with every champ...just in a different sequence...im not trying to be a dink but im on DoFr side here ive experienced the same thing, I think what hes trying to say is...if there is MMR ELO all that...why would he get put with people who barely have played the game or are just play as if they are in bots ...like maybe those people should all be grouped together and we should actually be placed with people our skill lvl not based on some algorithm that clearly makes no sense..to me its clearly not my play that puts me with these people so I honestly would like to know what it is that keeps me with them regardless of how good I do normal or ranked

You have a hidden MMR in normal games so it's likely that since you've played many more normals than ranked your MMR is more accurate which means that players would be closer to your skill on average.

They still use a similar formula for matchmaking in normal as they do for ranked. The main difference is that you don't get the shiny medals, the stress, and you can play with more friends.

People are better in your normals because you play more normals. People are worse in your ranked because your in a lower MMR than your normals

The thing is that people aren't afraid they have something to lose in normals. When playing for rank sometimes people get really upset if something goes wrong and start to tilt because they are worried they are about to lose rating. So basically its all their mentality around the game because there is nothing punishing you for losing a normal game so people normally dont tilt as often causing them to do stupid things.

Also, somebody already stated it but normals and ranked MMR are completely seperate. I very rarely play normals so when i got to diamond playing only ranked for years my normal MMR was still the same it was years ago.
