Am I ready for ranked? If not, what do I need to improve?

I did ranked a few months ago and lost 6 of my first 7 games and haven't touched it since that day.

I have now learned all roles, I communicate with my team, never flame, I ward/sweep as best I can and my main is Rek'Sai jungle.

Could someone take a quick look at my match history, CS and item builds and quickly just tell me "Your CS is bad, your item builds too" or "Your CS and items are good, need more kills" etc please? I don't want to go in just to lose games for my team mates again.

Thanks

:)

Maybe LoLKing and LoLNexus are lying to me but from what I see you have 2 rune pages one for reksai jungle and one for janna support that aren't even full of tier 3 runes. Before you can even contemplate starting ranked I need you to have at the absolute minimum the following 2 pages:

AD Page - Damage Quints and Reds. Flat Armor Yellows. Flat MR Blues. AP Page - AP Quints. Penetration Reds. Flat Armor Yellows. Flat MR Blues.

All tier 3 of course. If you only have 2 rune pages using those two on either champs will guarantee that you're not behind from the get go. Yes there are better runes for certain champs but these represent the minimum.

I see, I will focus on that mainly then, kinda sucks how you have to pay 6300IP for a page:/

You can stay with only 2 pages if you want but you should absolutely have an ad and an ap page full of tier 3 runes so that you can go in whatever role you need to be in. Buy the right runes first then worry about the extra pages after.

I'm not at my PC atm, here's my match history though: http://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-history/EUW1/33092957?matchType=1&map=1

I have every champ under 3150 except for maybe 4-5, I have about half of the 3150 IP champs and several 6300 IP champs.

Is it required to have a lot more? I can play 2-3 champs per role, up to 5 for roles like top and mid :)

To be honest Rank is just like playing a normal game, except youre ranked. Thats how it first felt for me when i started to play ranked, i was going into it thinking it was a whole other beast but it really isn't. It's just like playing any other non ranked game of league.

At the same time, some people are more determined to win it than others. They'll be using skype, they'll be being boosted by diamond and challenger player smurfs, they'll be trying to take whatever advantage they can to try to win.

You should be ready for ranked games when youre certain you understand the game, you understand most heroes strengths and weaknesses both on your team and the opposing, youre able to adapt to playing whatever role is given to you in the draft and having a rune pages with the appropriate runes that can be used for each role. The amount of games, and wins you have doesn't matter. What really matters is learning from experiences. That can happen at 50 wins, that can happen at 500 and all points in between.

It's simple. If you're not planning to go pro, don't bother with ranked. Too much headache.

The first 10 games are your provisional games and they will be tough, since the system is trying to gauge your ability. Once you get placed you might move up or down a little until you settle upon a place where you feel more comfortable. Keep in mind the first week/month of the new ranked season will be a little chaotic with the ranked reset.

As for your match history, I see you mainly play against silvers in normals so I would guess you will end up somewhere around low silver.

I see, I would be happy with Silver, I'm about Bronze level but I've heard that's where all the trolls are D:

you need to improve your confidence because as soon as you reach lvl 30, you are ready for ranked and its the only thing you should play henceforth.

I got to 26 vs bots (seriously) and then did ARAM to 30 :/ not the wisest of choices

AyRe CoNteMpT1 votes

yeah definitely the worst possible way to get 30. you are literally as new at the game as a... well, new player. regardless of that, just go and play ranked because its the only thing that will teach you anything.
