what to do in a late game when both teams are even

Had a pretty close game last match (some small mistakes i did make which i know i can clean up) So this is the scenario. We were leading in kills, had a good team comp but losing objectives At end, it was just hard to get team to wait for inhibs to respawn/push. This is where i feel like i wasted a lot of time. ..also where i make desperate plays i would never make if we weren't losing objectives. LIke what do you do right after all inhibs respawn? I mean if you group, all it takes is one slick teemo to back door. But if we dont group we get picked off. Is there somthing that i can be like "ok team this is what we gotta do now "

If their nexus is exposed and yours isnt, then you can try and bait a 4v5 for someone to backdoor.

Notable champions capable of backdooring with relatively good/amazing speed:

Nasus, veigar (arguably can be put to better use teamfighting though), jax, tryndamere, udyr.

Rule of thumb, ADCs never backdoor (unless the nexus is like near dead or something). They are simply too important late game as damage sources in fights. Typically the top laner (because they have tp and can recall back in emergencies) and CERTAIN junglers (gawdyr has amazing speed and objective destruction).

As for top laners, if you play with a top laner like me who doesnt run tp, its because Ive invested into two summs that enhance my dueling/teamfigt potential and its better to teamfight.

ahh ok. Ya i usually tell adc's not to solo late game. I also wondered why pros run ignite. I main panth, and if i dont have telport in bronze bot lane is just gone. But i was watching a diamond panth on youtube andhe was runing ignite. I guess it helps if you can depend on your team to not throw in 8 min ?
