Mechanics of Sated Devourer on Gangplank Q?

So as they keep nerfing GP, I more and more am missing the old days of him. Pre rework, even -- he was such a diverse champion! Bruiser, Crit lord, full tank, AP, etc, etc. He more and more feels shoe horned into just AD Crit Lord, as he no longer has the free AD from his old E that I've forgotten the name of now! How sad. I'm not saying the up date is bad, just that he lost so much of his flexibility and they are now nerfing the one thing he is good at (Massive Damage)

So in the spirit of good old GP, I am curious now if Sated Devourer would work on the beloved Pirate. The premise is this:

Would the Sated Devourer double hit proc on his Q? And if it did, would it apply double damage or just magic damage or what? I have this beautiful image in my head of 'On Hit Gangplank' nabbing stacks with his ultimate, power farming the jungle to his hearts content and 'Q' hitting someone twice with Titanic Hydra, Sheen and the devourer itself.

Let me know if there's any field data on this.
