Yes Kayle is fine in this current Meta, I would suggest as much as I hate to say it cause I play Melee top but I would take her TOP, can abuse melee champions so easy.

Depends on the match up and how the lane looks but I would try to these items

She is a strictly worse Azir, if you are playing her as a carry. If you wanna have DPS Soraka on your team, she is great. I used to have like 90 % with her in ranked from silver to plat 3 (and that was when she was underpowered) - mainly as support kayle, but also also top and jungle. If you can properly time your ult, you will win. Most Kayles I see are noobs and save their ults only for them. Lich bane is underrated on her, I don't see hurrican been so good now for AP champions with the lowered AS.

Yes, she's pretty strong and pretty easy to pick up. She's best used Mid or Top lane as a counterpick to someone you know it will be easy to farm against (melee tanks in top lane, melee assassins that don't have a big powerspike until 6 in mid lane) so she can sit and farm until the point where she just shreds everything with her auto attacks.

Rush Nashor's tooth always and afterwards go for a mix of on-hit and AP items with a lot of possible paths.

Top lane Kayle is awesome right now.

Rageblade, Wit's End, Trinity Force, and Nashor's Tooth are all fantastic items on her. You can pretty much pick-and-choose what you want based on the game state, seeing as Hurricane and <insert AP item here> are good picks, as well.

Top lane. Although she is seeing respectable success in mid and jungle.

Rune setup, at least mine is: AS marks Armor yellows CDR/level blues 2 AS quints 1 CDR/level quint

Max E first, then Q or W, depending on item build.

If you plan on getting Rylai's, then max W second. If not, then max Q second.

Q maxed second:

- Default - AD build. Considerably strong in this patch.

W maxed second:

- Default/Champion.gg build - AD/Slow build

she lacks counterplay and shes toxic. yes shes good.

Kayle I think is the only champion that can play all 5 positions. My favorite lane for her is Top.

She's also great Bot lane as a substitute for an AD Carry, her only drawback being her lack of burst.

She's auto win mid lane vs the common cheesy picks like Yasuo and Zed. She's counters Zed really fuckin hard. Anyone who loses to Zed while playing Kayle should quit this game, that's how hard she shits on Zed.

As a jungler she takes a lot longer to get going and her ganks are not all that but she's insane by midgame with her JG item complete.

As a support. She can carry hard if your AD Carry fails to do so. I think she is the only legit support champ that can do this.

My build for Kayle is balaced she is pretty much unstoppable an can 1v3 its you start with cooldowns and AS then get the frozen mallet to chew melees and also keep champions from getting away then you balance her mr and armor while increasing her heals and making her tanky then you get cleaver to boost her fervor since she is predominantly ad finally you ramp the final damage output with guinsoo's you set her 18-12-0 and use AS quints and marks Cooldown glyphs and increased health runes. You start with her Q so you can poke or deal damage on the run then E second and finally her W last to keep her healthy late game, the whole meanwhile leveling her R. I build her AD with AP support because her Q and E damage output is higher with AD plus the black cleaver stacks a higher damage output but AP support so her W doesn't wind up practically useless late game. Her best roles are top or support. where support you will substitute for .
