IMO if they take away his true damage it will bring his power back in line. I was just a full tank Shen and got bursted by him.

Its not just me. If you checked the boards you would see that other people are talking about tank yi coming back.

You have an autoattack dodge zone and a global TP. Fucking use them instead of taunting him when he WANTS to autoattack you anyway. He would only be able to autoattack you for 1 second before you teleported away, I find it highly unlikely that he could do ~3500 damage in 1 second(and that's through your armor) while building tank.

Obviously i used them. Did help in the end though. And we fought in team fights. Not solo. And it took him about 2-3 seconds. There is no reason to give someone with moderate damage and high attack speed true damage. And for the record, i had an 82 percent kill participation that game. So i was doing what i could to make things happen.

Yi destroys tanks because he has the highest sustained damage in the game.

I don't even know why you were solo tanking a Yi as a non-Malphite non-Rammus tank.

Highest sustained damage in the game? Far from it. He has high DPS with R active, but his base AS and AS per level are low (compared to other DPS champions/assasins), his base AD is also low compared to the juggernauts. You need high bonus AD for the E active, but you lose the passive bonus when it's on cd. Too bad that we don't a sanbox mode to actually find the best builds for all champions without spending 10 hours in a custom game waiting for the enemy Sion to farm enough HP, so we can test who has the highest DPS.

Ill just talk to you since everyone else just seems like an idiot. Anyways. I wouldn't solo him. We all new to avoid that. I would consistently ult bot to make plays, and i did. However later in the game, even with my w, yi would still shred me in team fights. It took about 2 - 3 seconds. Just tons of true damage that my armor did nothing against.
