Why are Yasuo players so obsessed with feeding?!

No matter what rank they are, no matter how many flashy master points they have got, they always feed. I'm tired of top lane Yasuo players who shove the wave nonstop, get ganked repeatedly and feed their asses off like there's no tomorrow. I do understand most champs can snowball on a Yasuo quite easily but what part of Yasuo's kit indicates it's crucial to stomp your lane to be useful? Why can't you use Q to last hit and ranged Q to poke/get minions you can't reach without pushing instead of going full retard against a lvl 6 Riven that can slaughter you and potentially render you useless for next 20 min? Why you gotta be so braindead my friend? Why are you even picking when you're mechanically bad? Never succeeded to get an answer. :/
