What do you buy vs champs that have both Armor, Health and healing effects?

item 3036 and tell one of your teammates to grab item 3165 or use summoner 14

Even though it's 45% bonus armor penetration, the 15% bonus damage amp vs. targets with 500+ more HP than you actually allows Lord's to do more damage than the 35% total armor penetration Last Whisper offered in past seasons.

item 3033 doesn't. It's armor pen and by extension tank damaging capabilities are pretty awful. Lacking the 15% damage amp that applies exponential scaling off the 45% armor pen leaves Mortal in a much worse position dealing with anything durable.

It's 40% reduced healing effect debuff makes it more than a glorified B.F.Sword when dealing with Marksman vs. Marksman battles though, where Lord's is essentially useless vs. squishy targets, being a B.F.Sword of stats for over twice the price.

However: Grevious Wounds only effects Self-Healing now, so you're not exactly going to cut down on Soraka/Nami/Sona/Taric heals with Mortal, and with Grevious being only 40% now rather than 50% I'm not seeing much of a reason to ever purchase Mortal ever.

I usually only bother getting mortal reminder if they have a soraka. Otherwise the passives for item 3036 feel better.

Yea so unless im hitting soraka and she is in the process of trying to heal herself it would be ineffective, correct?

Her only ways of healing herself is two fold: Landing a Starcall or using her ultimate. Essentially yes.

Back to item 3033 now. But for champions like Volibear DrMundo Warwick (just some quick examples) I'd probably go for due to them having powerful self heals. Two of them having it as passives while Mundo can activate his when he needs it.

Vladimir Volibear Aatrox and sometimes Olaf (depending on his build) you should go for Mortal reminder most of the time, since they are mostly heal based even though they are also tanky on their own.

Singed Udyr Nasus Darius you should go LDR since their healing is generally secondary to their raw durability (although a case can be made where Darius may require Mortal Reminder instead during team fight scenarios).

Honestly, with Illaoi, I'm not entirely sure. Generally she stacks a lot of health, and her healing is conditional, so I'm inclined to say LDR, but I've also seen too many times where she recovers from near death with her ultimate and tentacle healing, so really whichever feels better, or get your mage to pick up Morellonomicon.
