Crit Scaling in Marksmen

so i was looking at xayah's ability ratios and i noticed sh has crit scaling on her e. I just wondering why more marksmen dont have crit scaling in their kit's? aren't they supposed to buld crit? shouldn't they be encouraged to do so instead or of the 0 crit builds coming out of marksmen we have seen in the last year?

Edit: Also when i say crit scaling i dont just mean more dmg like what what xayah and cait have, it could be ms or some type or item synergy or something unique to the champion like a skillshot that gets wider based on crit or something.

you could do that by just making them raw AD champions

crit scaling is a ridiculous concept

But, if they were raw AD champs, they would just abuse Lethality some more. At least with crit scalings, they aren't going to build full pen, as there aren't any crit items with pen.

Which kinda proves that crit scalings are not as ridiculous as you make them seem. If they would be, these champions would build crit.

it "works"because all of them are casters who want their abilities to hit as hard as possible, besides Caitlyn and soon Kindred and Jinx. and caitlyn is a tumor because of the triple scaling in her passive

xayah is a right click champion too, and given how hard her E hits already there's no need for it to scale even more damage from crit

If they reduce base damage but make the abilities scale with crit to some degree it will make items like EoN less ideal.

Say Draven's Q had a lower AD ratios but was increased by crit chance

30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 (+ 65 / 75 / 85 / 95 / 105% bonus AD) reduced to 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 (+ 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80% bonus AD) but this was increased by 1% for every 2% crit chance meaning that at 50% crit chance it would be even with where it is currently. This would make Lethality builds far less ideal for draven since his main damage ability would be reliant on crit to be most effective.

The concept to introduce more crit scalings in marksmen kits exists at least since the marksmen update, it is not a new phenomenon.

They are actually working on it. Look at the marksmen update for example. Mf can mini crit with ult and crit with Q. Quinn passive CD scales with crit. Graves shoots more pallets. Jhin was designed with major crit scaling.

Remember the jinx pbe test to let w crit? And they think about introducing something like that for Kindred.

Crit scalings will probably get enhanced in marksmen, but they need time to do so.

we got a glimpse of what crit scaling ablites can do with that stupid the removed PBE Jinx W buff.

its just stupid how ADCs can crit u for + 1000 damage with 0 counterplay + 0 Cd/Resource/cast time ( no turn rate ) + 0 effort Autoes from + 650 range ( 550 edge to edge is equal to that ).

now they will be able to do + 1000 damage with spells too.

its a good thing as long as it dont get over use, eventually it would turn into the three hit mechanic that riot love so much if you have crit scaling you are encourage to build crit but you also dont want other builds to be bad or the second riot decide that crit is horrible and nerf it, those champions get the short in due their crit scaling

I like the concept. Riot said they were going to rework crit, and I think that adding crit scaling to abilities is part of the plan. They might end up reducing the multiplier on aa's eventually (or something similar), making crit champs rely more on spells for damage than they usually do.

That said I have no intention of building Crit on Xayah. I've been thinking of a build that looks like this item 3812 item 3156 item 3033 item 3078 item 3022 item 3047 / item 3006 making her one hell of a kiter and with fervor she could reach 400 ad.
