Im trying to choose between a couple champions to add to my top lane roster. I currently play maokai, pantheon and swain. Im currently bronze 5 (just did placments) and climbing. Im thinking about either Yorick, Trundle or Fiora. Im not a 100% on there actual roles but there kits seem good and interest me. I tend to face a lot of Darius and Riven.
Tyren1 votesI'm a big fan of Trundle, pretty safe lane phase, even when you get behind you have a reliable slow, steal ad and tank stats. He's the champ I picked to learn play top lane with.

Im leaning towards him because he is always kinda relevant. Simple kit mean i can focus on the game more.

He is fantastic for splitpushing and killing neutral objectives (i.e. Dragon, Rift Herald, Baron) due to his Ghouls and Maiden of the Mist.
If you play it correctly, Yorick can counter Darius pretty well. Yorick's W is great for stopping Darius in his tracks due to his lack of mobility and low attack speed.

If you want to kill a neutral objective, you can kill them rather quickly with minimal help. He is capable of soloing Dragon and Rift Herald and duoing Baron if you have your ultimate available.

Yorick is a champion that has caught my eye recently. His split push seems great, but no idea on teamfights. He is free this week so ill have yo play a couple normals to try him out. Is the champion.gg build and masteries fairly good?

You don't have to build Zz'rot Portal second, but I would try to get it fairly early. At most, I'd build one item after Trinity Force before building Zz'rot Portal. [While it should go without saying, you should only purchase one pair of boots.]

ive played fiora a few times and mindless mashing q and e on kids while taking no damage and stunning people with your w is nuts. Shes so strong if you play her right.

None of it is mindless though. Her damage sucks if you don't hit vitals and can properly do several auto resets in a row. Her W has a long CD and you are essentially losing the trade if you don't use it correctly.
