Alright so i am a plat support main, ranking up this account before pre season because i want to learn adc, doing fairly well, playing jinx and xayah a lot. i have a coupe questions. First off how important is it to play free cam, been playing this game on locked cam for years, never had an issue but i feel like it probably is worth learning lol could make a difference in dodging that extra skill shot that one time.

Second: how do you set up the attack thing that streamers use, it makes the green target pop up and what is the benefits of it?

Lastly if anyone has any general tips for adcing please let me know, up until the last few games i have been averaging 8-10 cs a minute, team fighting im really good in but not the best in lane, (Getting a little burnt out from the hard jinx spam so im slacking lol) Thanks in advance guys.

In your keybind settings you got something called "attack move," which is a basic move command but will attack the closest thing to your cursor that you are in range of.

You can play with a locked camera but in almost all, if not all scenarios free cam is much better.

That would be attack move click, you can bind that in your "Movement" hotkey subsection. Most people use 'A' for their key.

I played locked at first because moving the cam was just something else I had to worry about. BUT, I kept reading how it's better, so I forced myself over several games to just do it. Now I can't see how I played without. BUT, I know lots of people like locked...your preference.

The major difference I noticed for myself is being able to see further away from you (place your avatar off center towards the "safe" side). This also allows better aiming of long skills (lux ult, etc) as you can place your avatar at one side of the screen and see far away to where you are aiming.

I m not an adc main, nor am I like master or challenger, but I got to D4 with locked camera. Generally it is better to have it unlocked, but it's not the end of the world. I think there was a pro player back in the day (maybe it was Dyrus but I might be mistaken) that he joined an LCS team when he was playing with locked camera(he changed it shortly after before playing competitive though). If you are talking about attack move, it is on the settings at "player movement" or something it will not be hard to find. As for everything else just play the game and you will get to know that by experience

dont play xayah or jinx or vayne or ez they all get picked and get banned or will be nerfed soon. use someone else like varus or cait or draven or if your fealing ballsy graves and or kinbdred lastly there is always kalista

I use a hybrid of sometimes moving my camera manually when I need and sometimes holding spacebar to lock camera. Go into settings and set your attack move to be centered on proximity to mouse cursor instead of to champ, that way if you misclick your attack move you're still most likely to attack where u clicked near instead of some minion next to you.
