wondering everyones opinion on low dpi vs high dpi for league of legends, i play on an 800dpi with 35 in game, used to the low dpi from playing shooters, back in season 5 i remember i was on 3000 with a 35, i feel like i made less misclicks with the high dpi in league, whats everyone's thoughts on this, and what do you use?
I've always preferred relatively high dpi, but it's really what someone is used to. Higher dpi is faster but harder to be precise with, while lower is easier for precision but slower.
I generally roll with 9k dpi, but most people who happen to touch my mouse are all 'wtf is this how is this even playable' so it's probably rather high by most peoples standards.
For League I prefer high dpi, as you don't really need precision with clicking while don't want it to be too fast because some things have really small hitboxes (mini krugs are really hard to click). At the same time high dpi allows easier kiting, champion control. Low dpi works on shooters but imho not best for League.
Im usually between 2100-2500 dpi
its all personal preference, just use what you are comfortable with using. Personally I like really low mouse speed but that's cause i came from many many hours of CS with precision clicking. I use 400 dpi with 15 in game and 6/11 windows.
CS 1.6 mouse settings 1.75 in game 400dpi 6/11 windows
CS GO mouse settings 2.25 in game 400 dpi 6/11 windows
edit: yes i move my mouse like 6 inches back and forth to move in place
I like between 3.5k and 4k. I go lower if I feel tired or lazy, and higher when I'm 'into it'. Higher is good for say, CC'ing one champ, while fighting another, moving, and maybe some def spells for allies. With all that going on I find the higher DPI helps, but I agree with the above you are less precise but I could go higher, most things in LOL are easy to click.
