Making the Catfish more viable
While it is true that it is possible to play Tahm like a boss (I just got an S, BOOOOOXXXXXXX), I feel like he only has a few ways to play him, and they are all very linear:
an OP soraka: He can sit behind his adc, and grab her out of trouble whenever she looks to be struggling. This works best in teamfights, when you can grab the dude most likely to die, and vroom the heck out of there. However, this is dependant on your team basically being able to 4v5
A cannon: He can build ap, and launch minions Like a mortar. He deals damage, but he doesn't have any escapes, and he becomes basically useless in combat exceeding poking.
A volibear: Frantically running at people, and trying to get three stacks of fish on them.
I realize that these playstyles can be combined, into a rather fearsome mix, but it is very dependant on the last one - the volibear one. Problem is, he lacks a volibear runfast thing, so he generally ends up sucking up masssive damage and dying. :( (I'm in bronze, so people generally stand still for me. However, I can see this being a massive issue in higher elo's)
There is something else that we haven't mentioned. His ult. With the removal of its passive, I used it exactly twice in my S game, and neither time was very impressive. It's basically moot.
So, I have a solution that might fix his lack of a gap closer (to get those tasty stacks/rescue those dumbass teammates :) ), while giving him an ult that is actually usefull: We make his ult similar to Kassadin in cd/mana cost, but without the damage. That way, he could ult around his opponents, trying to get those stacks. Maybe, if they have three stacks, his ult knocks them up if he casts it at their location. What do you all think? Is it cool, or am I spewing Noob crap?
