Some players can be really toxic and will nonstop bitch about other players in game and in post game chat. If I ignore someone because they are being toxic or their chat is tilting me, then I really don't want to read it in post-game chat.
Riot, please make it so that people who are ignored in game, remain ignored in the post-game chat. Why isn't this already a thing?

I love post-game chat for this reason but, yes, i dont see why they cant have mute continue in post-game chat.

You have tools to deal with such people ranging from muting, blocking and even reporting.

Right click on the person's name on the side, select Block Player. You won't see his chat in the current post-game lobby and you'll never see this person chat again because this means being on your permanent chat blacklist.

I don't understand removing it. I like the post game chat and use it often to talk to people about the game. If you are against talking about a previous game you can simply leave.

Elikain6 votesMuting a player only stops their communication in game, because sometimes you just want to play in peace and certain people don't respect that. Blocking a player post-game is permanent and a block list exists for a reason.
If you felt offended by a certain player's chatting, you only have to block them and never see their chat again.

The mute should continue after game and I can then block them in addition to that. Makes no sense that Riot allows you to mute flaming in game, but then subjects you to it post-game.

There are various options to deal with toxicity. If you want to permanently mute people, you can just block them. And for people who just want to stop in-game chat, they can do so as well, without having to un-mute them after each game.

you can also ignore someone, which should mute their pings. It also mutes them for all future games. However I'm not 100% sure if it adds them to your block list. So you may see what they say in post game lobby, i can't be sure
If you want to do this, you need to write in chat /ignore PlayerName or /ignore @Champion
I wrote this because, even though your post says ignore, most people use mute and ignore interchangeably, when they are different, so I'm not sure which meaning you meant

After the game, there's no reason you can't just leave if you don't like what they're saying. Riot isn't "subjecting you to [their flaming] post-game", YOU are if you choose to stay and read it. Just say your gg and leave, nobody is forcing you to endure their flaming after the game is done.

Nah it don't work that way, if you manage to mute them in the after game lobby or post lobby, iut would be a block, mutes are only effective in game, for obvious reasons. For example ive muted some of my friends in game before because sometimes they toxic when they do bad, that's fine it happens to the best of us bad day whatever, it woukld be annoying to unblock them, which is basically what your asking riot to bring into the game, because you cant mute them after cause it becomes part of the league client again and not a in game feature, ergo, it wont happen and why I IMO disagree with what you are asking, besides post game is checked for toxicity, whoever thinks otherwise is very uninformed

Gibberwatt1 votesOr you could find if funny. I personally try* (and usually succede) to find it hilarious that someone would get so worked up over a game. Most of the time I'm playing normals, too, so it doesn't even matter that much if we get our butts handed to us. As long as I personally tried to do my best, I try* to be happy with the game.
*Although, sometimes, when I am on a multi-day loosing streak, or had a really crap day, I might get a bit pissed at the game/toxic peeps. But I rarely let it out in chat, and any other time, I find it funny.
