If I ignore a player in-game, then they should remain ignored in post-game chat.

Some players can be really toxic and will nonstop bitch about other players in game and in post game chat. If I ignore someone because they are being toxic or their chat is tilting me, then I really don't want to read it in post-game chat.

Riot, please make it so that people who are ignored in game, remain ignored in the post-game chat. Why isn't this already a thing?

Yes! post game chat is nothing but flaming and cussing out eachother anyways since it is not monitored. In my opinion post game chat should be disabled anyways it serves no purpose other than to support trolling and raging

Muting a player only stops their communication in game, because sometimes you just want to play in peace and certain people don't respect that. Blocking a player post-game is permanent and a block list exists for a reason.

If you felt offended by a certain player's chatting, you only have to block them and never see their chat again.

Nobody is forcing you to stay in the post-game lobby

Here's the thing. If you have them muted you:

  1. can't give them an opportunity to apologize post game
  2. possibly learn something from them and become a better player yourself.

Suck it up, block them after if needed.

Merudin8/8/2016, 4:29:50 AM1 votes

Hrm... never really considered that... I mean, I guess it's something so that after the fact you can still... nah, I got nothing...

I agree but I've seen this topic since the beginning of time so I know Riot ain't gonna change shit.

I'm sure it will be included when the client update rolls out. I would assume there is something that makes it difficult to execute, similarly to updating runes during champ select.

They used to have this feature around like, season 2-4. They took it out in Season 4.

runedara8/8/2016, 1:50:51 PM1 votes

Only problem with that is sometimes I mute people who are just spamming laugh or something. My ban list would be huge.

INeedChallenger 8/8/2016, 6:05:56 PM1 votes

I think when u mute a player their pings should be muted too :p

Kairya8/8/2016, 10:55:22 PM1 votes

I don't really agree with you. Or perhaps it's more accurate to say this is not something important at all in my opinion. Simply leave the lobby, if it gets to you that much. But honestly does it really have that much of an influence on you? I never cared much about post game chat personally...

Axe2Handle8/8/2016, 11:47:50 PM1 votes

People are such softies. You are whats wrong with America...

Unless your a girl IRL then disregard the above statement.

Gibberwatt8/8/2016, 11:59:31 PM1 votes

Or you could find if funny. I personally try* (and usually succede) to find it hilarious that someone would get so worked up over a game. Most of the time I'm playing normals, too, so it doesn't even matter that much if we get our butts handed to us. As long as I personally tried to do my best, I try* to be happy with the game.

*Although, sometimes, when I am on a multi-day loosing streak, or had a really crap day, I might get a bit pissed at the game/toxic peeps. But I rarely let it out in chat, and any other time, I find it funny.

Omg grow a pair, I'ts getting pathetic with all these "I'm triggered" and "I'm offended" and "I'm they are toxic and mean to me" kids.

Grow up, build up a thicker skin, or don't play. Sure, downvote this comment all you want, but imagine, just imagine for a second, our grandparents would have played this game during their adolescence. Not only would people have been less toxic in general, but those few who were would have gotten shut down so quickly. Nobody would have complained about "blabla is so mean to me".

I love reading post game chat. Munches on popcorn, sipping soda

StainlessTweedle8/7/2016, 9:13:16 PM1 votes

Thank you. Also not necessarily ignored people. My /all chat has been turned off for as long as I remember and that pretty much means I don't want any connection with the enemy team. Even if there's a slight chance of having an honorable opponent I can sacrifice that :|
