Ahri skin. Check Zed buffs. Check Lissandra buffs. Check Lucian Buffs. Check

I guess diversity is not what riot wanted for worlds huh?

By the way, thanks for the huge nerf on garen, he obviously needed that!

Nice! I like the Liss buff. A heal on her ult will help her with more sustain, though I don't like that Zed buff. His ult is outrageous as it is.

Zed buffs - ok.

Lissandra buff - interesting one. Makes it more rewarding/less punishing to use ult as an oh-crap button instead of superpowerful targeted lockdown. Somewhat situational.

Lucian buff - Interesting one. Puts a bit more emphasis on his mobility aspect, instead of adding general strength. Situational.

Lee Sin buff - This actually benefits Lees that kick that beefy Mundo through his team, instead of insec'ing the ADC/APC (who have virtually no bonus HP). Again, situational.

Has nobody else thought that 5.16 probably won't even be the Worlds patch anyway?

Last year at Worlds, 4.14 was the patch used, and it was released about this same time. There's a strong possibility that our current patch, or perhaps even 5.15, will be the Worlds patch. Such huge gameplay changes (the new items/changes and champion changes - i.e. juggernauts) would throw a huge wrench into preparation and scrims leading up to Worlds, and it's likely that we would get a poor showing because of it.

In any case, do you not want entertaining matches to be played? I don't know what this stupid conspiracy-circle jerk-clickbait bullshit is with accusing Riot of being corrupted money grubbing Scrooges whenever things are done that have repercussions on competitive play, but the trend has outlived its time. To say that you don't want an exciting event in Worlds is simply a lie. It may be said that people are tired of the same old champions, but there have been more champions played in competitive play lately, and in different roles/positions, than has been seen probably ever. There are certain champions that just work best in competitive and others that work best in solo queue, and I'm sorry that some people are too stupid or blind to see the difference. Plenty of bitching has been had over the newly played champions for each role, so it can be safely said that there's no winning when it comes to the community of this game and their incessant need to complain, even when they get what they ask for - I swear I remember making a post last year about people bitching even when they get to see new champions in each role.

The problem with the whole idea of new champions in different roles is the impact it has on solo queue and how much extra whining is added on top of the already-existing stuff. It took pro play showing Nautilus as a support champion (and then a top laner) before it made any frequent appearances in solo queue, and what happened after that? Complaint thread after complaint thread of "omg tankiest supp stupid long cc chains omg nerf wtf". It will never end. There will always be a fresh lineup of crybabies to critique and witch hunt any differences or staples in champion diversity.

Wait...from what I read I thought Garen got buffed up pretty damn good. I don't play Garen, so I could be wrong, but I'm looking forward to his rework.
