This grind is getting tough lol. Some games i'm carrying like a boss when i get a decent support and team who doesn't feed, or does well themselves. Then those games where you get a support who just shouldn't be.... Or that top, mid, jg who just is adding weight xD. I think i've gotten to the point where im not dying for no reason often. I seem to have a lot of deaths because of mistrust in teamates. Gotta work on sometimes letting teamates die if I know they are making a terrible decision. Being such a people please I hate getting blamed for letting those dumb teamates die.

Any tips on learning how to ignore teamates if they blame you for mistakes they wanted you to make with them? I know muting of course, but i prefer to not use that option unless I have to. I try to keep communication lines open for as long as I can.

/mute all Type that at the beginnig of the game, works in 100% but if you prefer not doing that then there is No solution except don't giving a damn about what they say, get used to that.

Btw I think it is hard to carry as an adc and I assume you are playing it, maybe you should change your role?

Yeah i used to mid a lot but idk... I've had such terrible play as mid recently im not sure what happened to me haha. So i've been playing adc a lot better. But yeah getting a support who is confident and knows their role well is tough

It's easier to learn psychology altogether than to temporarily adjust your personality. So you could look into general interpersonal analysis stuff, to be able to think things like "that person probably isn't really trying to be rude, but is just thoughtless". But for a quick bullet point style list, here are some of the ones I use.

  1. Everyone makes mistakes. Even Faker fail flashes. The person blaming you also makes mistakes, and is relishing in having an opportunity to focus on other people's mistakes instead of his/her own.

  2. Blaming people doesn't help win the game. By typing to blame you, your teammates are spending their time poorly. (Even if they're dead, they could be thinking about strategies to win, what items to buy, watching the minimap to help shotcall rotations, etc.)

  3. Everyone on your team got matchmade with you. That means their overall skill is pretty close to yours. You made a bad call? Maybe the person blaming you can't CS, or isn't good at remembering enemy CC cooldowns, or doesn't check the minimap often enough, or puts wards in bad places. Making one mistake doesn't make you a dead weight for your team.

  4. Watch how often people that are toxic (blaming, insulting, flaming) also say things in chat that you find useful (mentioning enemy top laner teleport is down so bot lane can go aggressive, calling that you spotted the enemy jungler heading towards your team's blue buff). For me, that intersection has been incredibly tiny. I don't mute everyone immediately upon entering game. But my rule is that, if someone says something nonconstructive and doesn't apologize when I point it out, then I mute that person. No exceptions.

I went from silver 5 to gold 5 mainly playing support this season. Just play brand support take all of your team's kills and carry them
