Man, I am so close to gold 5, to just hit the milestone of leaving silver is what ive wanted for past 2 seasons, and now this one I am sooooooo close. I feel like im winning lane and snowballing against opponents whom are better than me, and losing to the ones who dont perform as well. Everything is backwards!

You'll get there bud, just keep grinding. The real key is to maintain a positive attitude (as in, you'll find you play better if you worry less about how/what your team is doing and focus on your own gameplay). Not saying you don't already, but it goes farther than you think.
There's no shortcuts, so the best way to improve at the game (especially when you've only played for a couple years) is to grind grind grind. The more experience you have the better you'll be, and the more in-tune you'll be with how to react in certain situations and be proactive about other things.
Not every game is carryable, but a good chunk of them are.

as long as you can stay at high lp silver it's just a matter of time. Luck will bring you a streak, unless you are amazeballs good and can force wins.
