Question About Placement Match Logic

If I play 10 games, and lane against Gold Players every game... and go 5-5 (win lane lose game because of auto-loss teammates for 5 games obviously) can someone explain to me what the logic is placing me in Bronze?

So you beat/tie Gold, here is 2 tiers lower for no reason, enjoy grinding with baboons for 50 games = Riot

Let us place where we belong. I don't want to grind games with apes, its a complete waste of time. If you make me lane against Gold and I beat Gold, let me start Gold. It isn't that hard.
