Riot doesn't Punish Trolls, but Punishes Players that REACT to them?

If Riot doesn't give me a fair 5v5 Why am I expected to Waste my time?

Riot my question to you is this:

If a teammate is AFK for 5 minutes why can't I go next?
If bot lane is 0-15 at 10 minutes, why can't I go next?
If my teammates troll pick lux JG because they got autofilled, why can't I go next?
If the other team is diamond tier and mine is silver, why can't I go next?

I don't understand why Riot allows the troll scenarios I mentioned above, yet ONLY punishes people for reacting to them. It is an absolute joke and the quality of games is garbage as a result. The system as is, desperately needs improvement.

If a player trying hard AF to carry says "Fuck you stop inting" to someone trolling that is 0-10, Riot bans the mean words. They don't care that the 1 player literally ruined a game for 4 other people. Their priorities our out of whack

Trolls do get banned, but compared to chat related offenses:

They are more difficult to prove beyond a reasonable doubt it was intentional.
Not everything people think is trolling is actually trolling.
The ones who do get punished for it often already know why they were punished and thus have no need to complain about it.

That said, trolls often troll in order to get a rise out of others-they want to bring you down with them. If you don't give them that satisfaction (and subsequently add another obnoxious jerk that your teammates have to deal with) then chances are they'll stop acting up, and if they don't (and even if they do) you can just report them for their behavior without giving them the satisfaction of a negative reaction (easier said than done I know but still though).

You are quite literally one of the "trolls" you talk about. Someone with a horrible attitude who throws a game that's easy to win late game because you're too tilted to play.

Yeap totally agree, RIOT does not care at all about the trollers and feeders but if you speak to them in a bad way in game they are free to report you for telling them that they are idiots who waste your time and LP.
Also it has become boring to try to win every game by playing HARD. I will not get cancer for A GAME. I prefer to go and troll too so the game end faster when the score is already 6/19. RIP RIOT.

I like to play my games out. A good portion of my games starts out with several of my teammates at 0-5 to 0-10. The enemy team gets cocky and we have comebacks. Surrendering game gives you 100% defeat while playing it out gives you a chance. I'd rather play it out. It also forces you to make better macro decisions when you're behind IMO.

You are so right. I've gotten chat bans for letting these trolls and feeders know what utter fuckin trash I think they are and I'm proud of it. I wear my punishments like a badge of honor. Fuck these shit ass SoloQ feeding trash cans. I WILL NEVER STOP TELLING TRASH PLAYERS THAT THEY ARE FUCKIN TRASH.

No they ban both. Im diamond in starcraft, only 1v1s so no troll excuses, and its still a waste of time. If its your time youre worried about, stop wasting it on video games.
