1: true enough. Riot matches you based off of your mmr. Players can have good or bad games regardless of their rank, leading to poor performances, but overall the system works well enough 2: false. The only reason the "worst player" looks as bad as they do is because the enemy is capitalizing on their mistakes more than you are on theirs. 3. True. Over a large enough number of games you will climb. Individual games can be lost due to teammates though. 4. Yes, its fine.

as I said in my post, this game is no longer about skill. IT's about who can adhere to the meta, specific builds, an which team can control an get dragons the fastest.
Somehow I suspect you're hoping people will respond with, "1. False. 2. True. 3. False. 4. False." Or something to that effect.
I haven't played much ranked so I can't answer for the first and third statements. The second and fourth statements aren't really tied to only ranked though. So I will respond to those. 2. Depends. 4. Has been seeming pretty okay to me.
If you want explanations for my opinions, I'll give them but only if you don't mind a short essay. :v
@1. Majority yes. Individual games no as RNG makes an impact when your on the wrong end of it. @2 Depends on the gap between how bad the worst and how good the best is. A total newbie is likely to be shit. A smurf GM+ is gonna demolish. @3 Only if I put in enough games to let LLN be a factor. Which last time I tested it (s9) on a new account took exactly 50 games to climb to Gold. @4 More or less. Player behavior however is desperately in need of improvement. Some gameplay balance is also not what I personally consider ideal.
