What advantage do any Manaless champions present in Season 7?

Because every single person starts out with item 2033 or never even needs to build a item 3070 anymore. Its like champions like Garen or DrMundo or Renekton actually used to have distinct strengths of being picked by not being burdened by mana. Now you have this complete shitfest where Jayce no longer has any mana issues or let alone needs to build a tear item 3070 or Darius not even feeling like he has mana. Honestly at this point Darius just feels like a manaless champion. I can atleast understand item 1056 as an item as it makes you lose out on sustain but when there's items such as corrupting potion offering both mana and sustain, its down right stupid on champions who already barely suffer from Mana issues and leads to this idiotic concept of champs such as Pantheon spamming spears for days.

So with this in mind what's the point of even having Manaless champions in the game when they offer no distinct advantages over those that do? I would honestly like to see an increase of Mana usage on champions across the board. So champions actually feel constrained by it and picking a manaless champion over those that are not actually feels like a strategic pick. As of now this advantage is barely visible especially in top lane.

Any Rioter feel to give any useful insight into this issue? I honestly find it absurd no one even talks about this glaring problem in the current meta.

errr...Darius's mana limits him from pushing out waves with Q 100% without any punishments. It's actually quite a burden on him if you get a lead in lane or if he want's to split push without item 3748

And Pantheon can only do 1 1/2 combos in lane before being completely out of mana...I don't even know how you'd argue that he has no mana issues when that is the sole weakness he has in lane (besides melee autos)

Despite these examples though, I do agree with you that (much like crit/att spd for adcs) mana/cdr has become wayyyyy to abundant among items now. It's gotten almost out of control where you don't even need to try to get 30% or sometimes even 40-45% cdr...it just happens

Because they actually have strong kits that stand regardless of what resource they use and can play any kind of war of attrition in the early game and come out on top simply because they can use their abilities to waveclear faster and and harass their laning opponent with no actual cost to resources.

Jayce Pantheon Malphite still go OOM very easily in the game if they use their abilities carelessly. There have been times where I have lost lane not because I was overpowered my opponent or was outplayed or out pushed but simply because I ran out of mana after trying to win trades.

Seriously, try playing Karthus or Anivia and tell me that having high mana isn't a major weakness.

As a Yasuo main and as someone who's greatly enjoying the Kat rework, let's not up mana costs. Don't need any more bitching about Yasuo.
