Bard

I think bard needs work with his ult. If it hits an enemy, after the zhonya, it should deal damage or something, he seems too insignificant in solo q atm...

that is, until a pro picks him and suddenly he becomes the most broken thing to exist

obviously.

I mean, he's going to be great in comp, when everyone can communicate, solo bard is pretty worthless tho. You need to be able to talk with your team to use him

I agree completely with this. He is a very team reliant support, and most solo-queue ADC can't seem to handle a support that roams. Not just talking about Bard on that note, god forbid I roam mid with Leona and secure a kill there cause the ADC doesn't know how to stand back and farm. In a Ranked 5's environment where you can actually speak (not type) to your team I believe he will shine. I have done well on quite a few games in solo-queue as Bard, but because other lanes feed, or people don't know how to teamfight, I get blamed for picking Bard in the first place.

bard isn't a solo queue support. You need to be on the same page with your ADC early/mid game, and your whole team late game.

That's not necessarily true. The issue with Bard is the same issue people would have if you picked any other support. For ex,

If i'm playing Leona and I ping/type im going mid then my ADC decides it's smart to 1v2 the enemy in their minion wave is it Leona that's a bad support or is it my adc that's dumb?

Now put that same scenario for Bard only Bard can actually leave some health shrines there so he can still lend a hand even when he's leaving lane. Somehow ADC's think Bard is a bad champ then but leona wouldn't be considered one.

In my experience with him so far I have had adcs and only adcs rage about Bard. None of my other teammates have had an issue with me using him.

I agree he needs co-ordination with the team late game but early/mid game he doesn't need much more than a ping. ADC mains are just too use to being breast fed by supports that having one who's kit revolves around helping the team rather than just them isn't something they like
