Mages update
Ok so the mages update has finally kind of settled and I wanna make a post about what I think is good about this because I know you guys care so much about what I think.
We'll start with the pros so I don't get insta downvoted and lynched by the rito fanboys.
Pros:
- Updated champion kits and abilities that were outdated and sort of too strong -Made mages relevant again and tweaked their items to give them a fighting chances vs manaless and ad champions -Buffed weaker AP junglers like fiddle and brought them out of obscurity
Now with the cons
Cons: -Malzahar is now even more broken than when he was pre rework -Negotiated any weaknesses AP champions had by buffing AP to the point of it becoming more rewarding than AD at a lesser cost(Half the items give you health and mana just for building AP yet people were complaining about maw giving AD a fucking shield ffs) -AP assassins such as fizz, katarina, zed are just as strong if not stronger than they were before the rework dealing more damage with a single Q than an AD champion does with a full rotation.
These are just a few things of what's wrong with the mages update, the thing is a complete mess(what were you thinking?).
Like I understand if AP champions get mana with their AP items but why are they also being given health? Why are the AP items so overloaded? Why does none of these mages have a clear weakness we can play against?
You play melee and you can't kill them because of how much health they have and they can instagib you as soon as you're done unloading your combo. You play ADC and try to kite them they can still spam abilities at you and chunk you to half health before you can do anything to them. Hell even AP tanks are having trouble dealing with AP mages/assassins at the moment with how much damage they're able to deal to you while being a walking wall of health.
Like, seriously. Give me a solution, how do I even play against this?
