Opinions on shaco rework
So after playing him for a bit I can tell he's weaker than he was before. Bare in mind I built him on the recommended items rather than my old build however I did experiment just to see what still works and what doesn't.
His farming in the jungle isn't as bad as I expected it to be which is ok however ganks are a pain to do early on due to the fact you have 0 damage on your abilities besides your Q.
Cons
- Weaker clear, boxes die far too quickly early on making farming slightly harder especially with the new aoe camps(please bring back the ability to stack them)
- Next to no early game damage, ganks are a pain to pull off and killing a squishy takes your entire health bar since you literally rely on your auto attacks for damage, so expect to die a lot more than before since you'll be face tanking a lot of shots if you wanna get your kill.
- Less stealth early on also damaging your ganks
- 3 second CD on your back stab passive is too much considering all the nerfs towards all his other abilities(mainly shiv)
- Boxes on ult are useless and people just walk away or kill one the moment they pop
- nerf of his clone's damage vs turrets makes taking down turrets slightly a longer process
- Back stab no longer synergizes with your other abilties, more specifically shiv taking away a fair amount of damage from your ganking
Pros
- Longer stealth later on in the game making ganks/escapes/splitpushing a lot better
- Shiv becomes a second smite later on against objectives like baron or dragon, very useful in taking them down quickly or stealing them away incase they smite it too early.
- AI of the clone feels a lot better however shaco himself feels a bit clunkier than before
- Boxes late game feel a bit more useful not quite sure why.
- New options for different builds however shaco feels too weak to utilize those builds.
Overall I think the rework is fine however shaco needs some damage on his abilities since ganking is now much harder due to the fact you have no damage on your abilities and have to rely heavily on your autos instead, might make shaco more of a bruiser type if he stays like this.
6/10 could be an 8/10 or even a 9 if they'd buff his damage on his abilities and decreased the CD a bit on his passive
