why does shen have 400 energy while every other energy champ has 200??
why wasn't it streamlined for consistency???
shen even feels like he does less than the others with more energy l0l.

I guess the only point would be so he gets half as much effectiveness out of energy related runes?
Are those a thing people use?
Oh, and so he get's half effectiveness from the same amount of passive regeneration as other energy champions. I guess.
Because this way the already ridiculously niche energy runes don't work on one of the energy characters.

What? nah no one use energy reduction rune sorry bro.
His dash is 180, Spirit Refuge is 40 and his Twilight assault, which is meant to be a spammable ability costs 140 scaling down to 100 energy. If they had to streamline this to 100, it looks like we'd end up with some pretty bizarre energy costs, so it's probably a clean numbers things.
Because Shen's abilities cost 360 energy if he has one point in all abilities and goes down to 320 in total when his Q is maxed.
Maybe they have plans for the future? Maybe it will become the new standard? Maybe they are trying to find a new standard for energy champs and this is just a test?
I don't know. I can only hope Riot has a clue with what they are doing.
