So Rito is thinking about a Syndra buff in 5.18.

Thoughts? Her Q and E were going to be buffed (Via her passive) where her Q did 15% true damage and her E would be much wider. The buff to her E seems decent, but the 15% true damage with her Q was just too strong. Those changes were both reverted, and I don't even think her kit needs a buff like that. She can already destroy squishies with 1 combo if even that. She's a mid-game monster already with her Q. Her ult is difficult to pull off, but I think that's what makes Syndra fun. I think at best her Q at max rank could give her more magic pen along with the 15% more damage, but that even seems like it's stretching it.

I personally think she's fine where she is. If you're good at her, you can dominate the laning phase and early teamfights. To be honest, I don't even notice her falling off much late, but maybe that's just my S5 rank talking.

Before anyone complains about how I just think she can faceroll because I don't play her, you're wrong. I didn't get 108k mastery points with her by not playing her.

Syndra

Transcendent (Passive)
Dark Sphere now deals 15% bonus TRUE damage to champions instead just increasing damage to champions by 15%
Scatter the Weak width increased up to 100% from 50%

She's one of the weakest mages in the game. I don't know why you think your experiences in Bronze/Silver 5 make you qualified to comment on balance. In before every other shitter rushes in to say rank is irrelevant. This entire game is 100% knowledge based, there are no physical restrictions holding people back like in an FPS or fighting game, no 1 frame timings, no insane reflexes required.

Uhh...No reason to get shitty about it. Excuse me for voicing my opinion.

Playing syndra in bromze and sikiver is harder ... if you can elimimate a carry and cc a team in gold and higher thay usually gets the job done for a team. I b4 but a smurf let me play om their account for a day and i found it was easier and less stresful winning games.so have respect there is some talent stuck in bronze and silver where unless you duo que you always have to do as much as you can to fill for a teams lack of a certain battle tactic. I have 300k mastery points on syndra and a 58 to 60 percent win ratio in bronze which says alot. I play her 22 most in ranked for rank dosnt have everything to do with how well you play a champ.

are you fucking kidding me now that azir has been nerfed i don't think syndra should be buffed unless you want to see syndra every game now i just played a couple games of syndra her early game may be weaker now but she is a terror against squishies.

If you just prep 2 balls before a teamfight late game u could single handedly delete the enemy adc

I think she needs a buff, but not with true damage. Mages do have a really difficult time dealing with tanks (especially low mobility mages like syndra), so giving her true damage would help make up for her really low mobility low game, but honestly they could just increase her range and not her damage (which could actually be a larger buff overall and the damage might be a better choice).

Just give all her skills % Max Health True Damage. It obviously fixes everything. /sarcasm

Bruh 108 k your a baby a scrub. I just hit 300k bouncing between a 58 and 60 percent win ratio in ranked. Syndra is in a state of minimal use if the summoner hasnt had extensive game play with her. Even when i use her it takes alot of effort to perform the way i do. Playing her is meticulous and requires alot of attention to detail and even at that i feel like my my intricate plays and continious tags i get on champs isnt paying off. Best thing i can do.is pre prep a seven ball and hope theres a squishy in range. Theres no reason i land 2 whole spell rotations on a fighter and they still live. A slight passive buff on qwe is all thats needed to make syndra more friendly to less skilled summoners and more rewarding to players like my self or overlord forte who is tagged as lol skills number 1 syndra. Even with the slight buffs summoners that dont posses the skill or the understanding of her kit will still be average. Since shes one of riots well desighned champs imo. But thats my opinion and i wont let somone with a mere 108k ms points talk about my champ like they know everything. Good luck
