I'm in Bronze

I'm a Bronze player. All of my teammates are afks and trolls, while the other team has the best players and smurfs. I obviously deserve to be in at least Master, if not Challenger due to my superior skills. I keep losing because of my 0-10-0 mid who rages in chat and throws the game. For some random reason, I'll blame Dynamic Queue for my losses because that's what everyone is complaining about, too.

jk. The reason I'm in Bronze is because of my own personal mistakes, like map awareness and positioning. I'm slowly climbing because I got rid of my tendency to put the blame on other factors (above). I think everyone needs to remember that the only constant in each of our games is ourselves.

(On a completely unrelated sidenote, what champions should I play at my level? The meta champions with higher win-rates or champions that I find fun and comfortable?)

Play champions that you are good at playing with in Bronze, no matter how good a meta champion is, if you can't play them efficiently, you will hinder yourself more than help.

As long as you keep improving yourself and not find fault in others, you will climb (besides, blaming your teammates, or other outside factors, isn't going to help you improve as a player).

Play something you enjoy but that is simple mechanically. The less you have to focus on mechanics the more time you can spend improving on map awareness and decision making.

Those who blame it on those things you listed in 1st paragraph deserve to be in bronze. Those who do not talk and just use pings and are not toxic, and are always learning belong in high elo.
