Was level 17, had over 450 ap, and magic pen boots, my ult was suppose to do over 800/900 damage, i dropped it directly on a galio and did maybe 50 damage? He was level 18 and had some mr but nothing crazy. Honestly that whole game my damage didn't feel very strong. This question goes out to zigg mains.
Galio's W gives him like 50 percent damage reduction plus his passive shield so that doesn't surprise me
This is not a Ziggs issue; this is a build issue. The enemy Galio ended the game with all 6 of his items providing magic resist and possibly more on from runes and masteries. This doesn't even account for any shields he may have had or the damage reduction he gets while and right after channeling his taunt. You had only pen boots and maybe pen from runes and masteries. I would recommend adding in Void Staff next time, but even then you will still feel weaker vs someone stacking that much MR + having sheilds and damage reduction.
WHERE IS YOUR VOID STAFF???????????????????????????????? Liandry would be a nice pick for later on as well considering their insane amount of health. Idk how you are not farming more with Ziggs when you can clear waves so easily. Work on that and you should be fine. Also consider Lich Bane as a 3rd or 4th item, this game I would've rushed the void staff pretty much right after morello's >rabadon's, or even before rabadon's depending on how early they did that shit
Galio is anti magic damage, don't ult him. Also ziggs damage is nothing special blow for blow against other mages BUT the moment your team starts sieging/defending against there's few champs that can fight over an objective like him.
