Everygame is same. My botlane go 0/10 at 7 mn 2 v2 while me getting camp by enemy jgl over and over... Seriously how am i suppose to play game and have fun if im getting gank every 30 seconde, My jgl is afk farm and still down in cs compare to enemy jgl how never left topside, My midlaner is dying over and over sol to yasuo and so on ... It honesly becom a coin flip for me. Its either my botlane win or not, My contribue to the game is not existant bc im 2v1 since lvl 1 ( getting lvl 1 cheesed everygame). Inleas im faker or tf blade to 2 v1 outplay everygank, i have no way to carry my way from toplane

Top probably needs work imo because its the worst role but has the strongest champs on average. Theres so many fun champs that Id like to play but they are top laners so... Id rather not xd

Funny because recently I've only seen TK twice and won the matchup by ahem not playing into his win condition.

Tahm Kench got damage buffs in exchange for not being the Pick/Ban Support of Pro Play. Not terrible buffs, I think it breathed new life into a one-trick champion. The one thing TK's buffs did for him was make his 1 v 1 in the Top Lane with tank items pretty brutal. The key to winning is not to fight him.

Let me explain. Fighting TK is a pointless endeavour because once he gets his three stacks on his passive he auto wins the trade because he can stun and/or eat you. So the trick to winning versus him is save key abilities to either farm the wave or trade with him when he can't trade back. (Champions like Illaoi are good for this.) Once you're done wittling him down, you put his lane in a position where he can't base for free pre-6 (post-6 he can use Ultimate to get back to lane, but that denies him the ability to roam efficiently) if he takes ignite, no difference with TP other than you can force him to use it to not fall behind.

Well riot wants this game to be a team game unless you are a toplaner then you are only allowed to contribute to your team every 6 minutes.

The way to play toplane is ignore the lane and play a second jungler. Trust me it works. Just walk down botlane dive them kill them. Walk mid. Go into the enemy jungle.

Or just do what smart people do quit toplane, wait for more and more people to get autofilled and complain about toplane and maybe riot does something.

But so far toplane is the lane where every non functioning shitchamp gets thrown into. Actual toplaners get nerfed out of the role. Nothing is done about the counterpick meta or the pick irelia and win meta. Or anything that happens top. Toplane is locked in a 1v2 every game, while not being able to contribute to the game while having shitty items that are only good if you snowball while having to deal with ranged>melee and so much shit too much for me to write down currently.

Scaling champions get their lategame nerfed like camille who is dogshit useless outside of a few picks she beats. Like jax who is only good as a counterpick anymore. While champs like renekton or riven can run around win most melee matchups and also outscale them. It's insanity.

Prolly cuz it's coming from the people who play champs specifically designed for top lane rather the poorly designed trash that floats in from other roles + Kennen who gets massively undeserved presence by simply pressing R no matter how he's performing.

Literally every game i see toplaner smashing and getting fed it's the same scenerio. They get fed, but they never leave lane. I shudder the moment i have to face a fed Jax when i play botlane, cause i know he'll literally 1v2 me and my support if he just decided to stop going top over and over.

Every other lanes i see goes somewhere, if botlane gets ahed they go mid, if midlane goes ahed they start to roam, if jungle gets ahed... well he wins every lane. But whenever my super fed Riven or Jax goes ahed, they spam TP top, and just split while spamming "OMG JUST PLAY DEFENSIVLY" regardless if their team can hold their own in the midlane.

Toplane is my secondary role, everytime i get ahed i'll group mid and push for objectives, if i get fed on shit like Urgot or Darius, i clean floor with anything that isnt a super fed Vayne.

Toplane (ESPECIALLY low-elo) sucks because well-designed champs like Camille Gnar Poppy Rumble get shafted while boring statchecks like Jax Nasus Renekton run rampant. There are super fun champs up there like Irelia and Aatrox, but for the most part it's babysitting a brainless splitpusher (how is Tryndamere still in the game) while the adc that got fed rolls the other team.

I play top or ARAM, almost exclusively though I don't play ranked. I imagine people are abusing ranged champs far more frequently there than in normal games though I still see my fair share of awful ranged tops like Kennen Lucian Urgot

And jungle ganks are a toss up as well. I rarely, if ever am the victim of a lane gank nor does my jungler set them up. If you ward diligently you're quite safe and instead of sitting in vision while you're pushed up, sit in the far bush instead. Jump out to grab the CS and then go back out of vision, if they can't see they can't assume they know where you are - it's better than just sitting under the enemy turret like a duck. Alternately, if you're pushed in ward the flank leading up to your turret and just back the hell away if you see someone coming, like to your t2 turret.

The real issue, in my games, is that conq is so wildly OP compared to other keystones and bruiser itemization is just bananas. A 1v1 between two bruisers is almost entirely dictated by who can use conq (or who can proc is faster) and which items they buy.

If you like solo lane but want to have more early game impact, midlane is really your lane. I had gone from top to mid earlier this year and it was more for me.

As a jungle main that used to powerfarm, I concur that this is no longer a viable strat. The rewards from camps are way too crappy to play this way anymore. You need to be ganking all day.

Its funny for me as a toplaner, how many people get autofilled top and they dont know what to do. They are trying to play it, like it would be mid lane, or bot. They get punihsed so hard, and then they say "juggers are op, top lane champs are op" .. No, they are not, farmed adc or mage kills you instantly and all you can do is split push. TP had 6 minutes CD! That means in average game I can use it whole 3 times! WOW! I just take ignite to help my jungler.

Honestly, I played with every role a bit (at a relatively low level) and mid felt by far the most consistent.

Top felt way too swingy and isolated from the game, too many picks you're forced to fight whether or not you have any chance of beating.

Jungle there's too much pressure to get everything right, you have to balance farm with ganks with counterganks, and it's again too swingy, you don't have to get too far behind before trying to farm your camps is inting against a team determined to keep you behind.

Bot was my weakest lane, super snowbally and the biggest target for everyone else in the game to fuck with.

Mid, if you pick something safe with a steady power curve (I always went with Morg) you can defend pretty well against other people pressuring you, you can play from behind without feeling worthless, and if you're confident in your abilities it's astonishing how much having a midlaner that consistently doesn't int to assassin's, gets decent (for the skill level) farm, and can hold a tower can add to an otherwise hopeless-seeming game. No shocker it's the only role anyone actually wants to queue for anymore.

I main botlane, I have the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE except change "botlane" to "toplane" (and obviously 2v2 to 1v1). The problem is matchmaking is garbage. Last night was the first time in a very long time that I was most likely the worst player on my team and we lost. Usually if I'm worst I can make myself light enough to be carried, but if I'm BEST on my team, we're screwed because at least 2 if not 3 of my teammates are hot garbage, if not straight trolls.

Funny enough i was experiencing this until i decided to play Fill. Unsurprisingly i started getting Support. I decided then i would just strictly play support mages (Lux, Brand,Zyra) with a focus on Lux. I went from Bronze 1 all the way to Gold 4 in less than 30 games.

Here is what i gathered from my experience. In low ELO you cant expect lanes to be consistent. Either your teammates are gods or they are trash. Never an in between. If you are decent enough at skillshots, picking Lux is basically a free win. Most players down that low dont know how to dodge skill shots that easily. Many ADC players still havnt fully grasped the concept of attack moving. Most support players will usually run in a straight line at you so they telegraph when they want to do something.

Here is what ends up happening. You outpoke most duo lanes as long as you maintain good bush control. Once you hit level 6, 100-0 the support or ADC should be easy as long as you hit all your spells. Now, you've shut down both the enemy ADC and the Support. You've just turned the game into a 5v3. It almost doesnt matter how bad top or mid is doing. Just keep farming off your bot lane and get kill after kill. Lux is very much a hard stat check. She can either 1 shot you or she cant do shit. But at that ELO its very easy to get to a point where you are dealing more damage than the midlaner.

At this point your team should be able to group up and win pretty much all fights unless your positioning is just crap. Ive gone on massive win streaks doing just this. Shutting down two people is a much more guarantee of winning the game than trying to go top and coming out ahead of the top laner.

tl:DR Play Lux support and carry all your games till Gold
